In 2012, your donation will be used to:
\n– Provide Hands-on Self Defense Training
\n– Send a self defense and karate teacher to Nepal and India to work with hundreds of at-risk women and children. \u00a0Our goal is 300 girls trained in 2012; our April trip put us at 122 girls trained with another 178 to go. \u00a0Help us reach our goal!
\n– Predator Identification and Self Confidence Building Materials.<\/strong>\u00a0 During our 2010 trip, we saw that there was a lack of basic “stranger danger” awareness, as well as ‘soft skill’ building (healthy boundaries; conflict resolution; self empowerment). \u00a0We’ve developed materials, in English, but need to have them translated. \u00a0Additionally, many at-risk women and children are uneducated, so we will have an illustrator illustrate the materials to make these materials accessible to everyone.<\/form>\n– Train-the-Trainer<\/strong>. \u00a0GTP will partner with the many existing NGOs that provide food, shelter, and education to rescued victims of trafficking. \u00a0We will train these NGOs’ staff to continue to provide self defense training and awareness to their residents.<\/form>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
